We were so excited to catch up with Harmony Walton, the founder of The Bridal Bar! This brilliant idea allows brides to come in to their boutiques, located in Los Angeles, San Diego & Atlanta Ga, sit down and have a glass of champagne and go through everything from decor to photographers to honeymoons with the assistance of a knowledgeable professional. The best past is it’s complimentary! Harmony also gave us a sneak peak of what’s to come in 2010 for the Bridal Bar– exciting stuff!

We recently got the chance to interview Mary Dann of Mary Dann Wedding Planner & Party Coordinators. Based in Los Angeles, she has been in business for almost 20 years, & become one of the premiere wedding planners in the area. She has been a contributing writer for “Inside Weddings” and “Ceremony” magazines and has also been featured on Style Network’s “Whose Wedding Is It Anyway,”Married Away“, and WE Network’s “Platinum Wedding.”
In the interview Mary Dann introduces her new book, “Wedding Wisdom,” which she co-created with Leila Khalil of Be Inspired PR, and discusses why becoming and family a marriage counselor helped her gain more insight in her clients needs.

Inés Di Santo, haute couture fashion and bridal designer partnered with Jobyna’s Bridal at the Americana Glendale to open their first entirely-dedicated bridal salon, Jobyna’s bridal by Ines Di Santo. The grand opening and launch party took place on November 12, 2009 with a fantastic party here Inés Di Santo was there to greet brides and party goers. Di Santo unveiled her Spring/Summer 2010 gowns fresh off the runway of New York Bridal Fashion week. The Glendale Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of the grand opening. Stay tuned as Who What Weddings hosts a video tour of the new store location!

What a fantastic event! The Bridal Bar and Angeleno Magazine hosted an amazing Masquerade Ball at the Petit Ermitage Hotel in West Hollywood, CA on November 17, 2009. Designed by Cobalt Events , the extravagant ball had an all star team of industry vendors including Tic Tock Couture Florals, Classic Party Rentals, Beautiful Day Photography, Laura Hooper Calligraphy, Custom Candy Buffet Bars, Plush Puffs, Supernova String Quartet, and Madame Chocolat. The highlight of the night without a doubt was a performance by the Aqualillies, a 50′s inspired water ballet group. Guests were invited to have their face painted by an authentic french Masquerade make-up artist and have their photos taken with a group of lovely Masquerade Models wearing sexy lingerie with their gorgeous hair and makeup by Fiore Beauty. Who What Weddings caught up with couture bridal fashion designer, Alisa Benay, who recently launched her premiere collection at New York’s Bridal Fashion Week. Alisa shares her inspirations for premiere collection ”dresses that are fresh, contemporary interpretations of vintage designs that will make every bride feel as glamorous as she looks.” Her designs were all the buzz this Bridal Market and we are looking forward to seeing what she has in store for next season.
